The plane was
40 minutes late leaving Winnipeg, due to the need for some minor maintenance.
The flight was less than 2 hours. The international departure gates were a 10 minute
walk from the gate where arrived. (That pace is my walking speed, not using the
moving walkways, other passengers took 20 minutes or more using the moving
walkways.) Both Winnipeg and Toronto airports have Tim Hortons and Starbucks
cafes among the variety of stores. It is 8 p.m. Winnipeg time and after
checking the results of the Safeway Manitoba Men’s Curling Champion it was time
to make the first entry. If the plane leaves
on time we should be boarding in 2 ½ hours.
